Scapes is a problem-solving landscaping consultancy for community-based concerns. We are based out of Leola, Lancaster County, PA and have decades of experience in landscape management and leadership.
The Mission of Scapes is to share that passion and start to help you create beautiful campuses for your communities. In this, we partner with communities to create comprehensive, strategic plans for landscape design and maintenance. We value objective-decision making based on our experience. We strive to provide you with deliverables that last years, not just the budget cycle you’re currently in.
About Scott, Founder of Scapes
Scott Ruth, founder of Scapes, grew up in Lancaster County. He has lived in Lititz, PA and now currently Leola, PA. He graduated from Warwick High School, then attending Franklin & Marshall College and Temple University where he studied Landscape Design.
Not counting the neighborhood mowing business that Scott started at just 9 years old, he’s been fortunate to have worked professionally in the Green Industry for over 4 decades. He has served as a general laborer, business owner, account representative, and finally as a Director in the Continuing Care Retirement Market (CCRC) for the last 20 years.
All of the opportunities I have been given have been incredibly rewarding. They have built the valuable experience I have in landscape project management and consulting today."
